Jo Ann Wadlington-Strong

Jo Ann Wadlington-Strong, the daughter of the late Elmer (Happy) and Goldia (Brooks) Wadlington was born June 6th, 1941 in Scott City, Missouri and departed this life Thursday August 24, 2023 in her home, as she had desired, at the age of 82.

She was a former employee of Blair Industries, a resident of Scott City, Missouri and a member of First Baptist Church, Scott City, where she was saved and baptized at a revival in her teen years.

Survivors include two sons, Rev. Kenny (Nancy) Strong of Jackson MO, and Kevin J. Strong of Scott City and their families, six grandchildren: Andrew, Daniel, Amber, Tanner, Trestin Strong and Zac Kurgas, nine great grandchildren: Eliana, Elijah, Harmony, Kennedy, Eleanor, Evelyn, Jayce, Eli and Magnolia with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will all miss her.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Carol McElmurry.

Memorial Services will be This Sunday August 27th, 2023 at Fathers Arms Fellowship 1400 Main, Scott City MO
