Jerry Wright

Jerry Cleo Wright, 80 of Commerce, Missouri died June 13, 2022 at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.  He was born February 28, 1942 in Commerce, Missouri to Cleo and Ruby Zoa Hamm Wright.  He married Glenna Shirley McLain on April 14, 1964 and she preceded him in death on June 23, 2003.

He was an Operator for Local 513 Operating Engineers.

He is survived by a son, Jerry (Ann) Wright, Jr. of Mooresville, North Carolina; a daughter, Cheri (Chris) Vetter of Benton, Missouri; three brothers, Kenny Wright of Commerce, Ronnie (Lucy) Wright of Scott City and Bill Hamm of Jacksonville, North Carolina; two sisters, Betty (Bill) Mabrey of Scott City and Janice (Walter) Margrabe of Cape Girardeau; a sister-in-law, Dorene Hamm of Scott City; four grandchildren, Josh Wright, JoBeth Wright, Kaitlin (Garrett) Roslen, Kristen (Albert) Horn and four great grandchildren, Reece, Maddox and Emersyn Roslen and Aniston Horn.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dale Hamm and a sister, Mary Lou Anderson.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce, Missouri.
