Jerry Aydelott

Jerry Wayne Aydelott, 65 of Scott City, MO died Monday, June 29, 2020 at his home. He was born May 26, 1955 in Hayti, MO to Charlie Paul and Stella Irene Leek Aydelott. He married Rebecca Ann McCarver on March 24, 1980.

He was an industrial factory worker and a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Scott City.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca of Scott City; a son, Paul Wayne (Patricia) Aydelott of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Jerrie Ann Aydelott, April Dawn (Chad) Green of Scott City and Laurie Ann Clipson of Hayti, MO; two brothers, Donald (Christine) Aydelott of Caruthersville, MO and Edward (Barbara) Aydelott of Ellettsville, IN; a sister, Linda (Ronnie) Goss-Vaughn of Fulton, MS; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday at the chapel with Rev. Timothy Lee, Bishop John Stepp and Rev. Wiley Kanfman officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
