Jerome W. Landewee

Jerome Landewee, son of the late Frank and Barbara (Vandeven) Landewee, was born May 20, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on Friday June 11, 2021 at his residence in Oran, Missouri, at the age of 75 years.

On September 19, 1970 he married Carolyn Eftink in Oran, Missouri. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons: Darren (Mary Katherine “Cassy”) Landewee of Oran, Missouri, Todd (Jeannie) Landewee of Chaffee, Missouri; one daughter: Melynda (Tracy) Loughary of Jackson, Missouri; one brother: Irvin Landewee; four sisters: Pat Kern, Mary Glasstetter, Carolyn Leitle, Bernice Kern; and six grandchildren: Allyson Jansen, Olivia Jansen, Brooke Landewee, Saylor Landewee, Parker Landewee, and Aubrey Landewee.

Apart from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Harold Landewee.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at the Amick-Burnet Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri with the Prayer Service starting at 5:00pm. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Missouri with Rev. Joseph Kelly and Rev. Randy Tochtorp officiating. Burial will follow at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Missouri with full Military Honors.
