Jeannie Elizabeth Williams

Jeannie Elizabeth Keefer Williams, daughter of the late Fred Keefer and Carrie Griffith Keefer was born on December 15, 1932 in Morley, Missouri and departed her life on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Bertrand Nursing and Rehab Center in Bertrand, Missouri at the age of 89 years.

She was a former branch manager at Bank of Chaffee a.k.a First Commercial Bank and a resident of Morley, Missouri.  Jeannie was a very active and dedicated member of the Morley Church of God along with Morley Community Betterment program. Mrs. Williams enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

On May 13, 1961 she was united in marriage to Ralph “Pete” Williams in Morley, Missouri.  Mr. Williams preceded her in death on January 10, 2013.

Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl (Brent) Powell of Morley, Sheila (Derek) Mills of Vanduser, Missouri, and Tracy (Dickie) Jordan of East Prairie, Missouri; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny, Syl, Merle, and Bill; by two sisters, Emma and Cletha.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 9:00 until 12:00 noon at the Morley Church of God.  Funeral services will be conducted at Noon with Rev. Mike Worrell, Rev. Richard Triplett, and Rev. Larry Jackson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley.
