Janice Hanselman

Janice Gale Hanselman, daughter of the late Glendal Taylor and Brenda Jester Taylor was born on May 5, 1961 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Southeast Health Care Emergency Room in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 60 years.

Mrs. Hanselman was the former owner and operator of We Care Transportation. She was currently employed at Orscheln Farm & Home and a resident of Chaffee, Missouri. She loved her job at Orscheln, and all of her co-workers and customers. Janice loved to hunt, fish, ride side by sides and spend time with her family. She will leave a whole in our hearts and we will miss her dearly.

On March 23, 1985 she was united in marriage to Ray Dean Hanselman in Benton, Missouri. Mr. Hanselman survives of the home in Chaffee.

Besides her husband, Ray Dean Hanselman, other survivors include two sons, Quentin Ray Hanselman (Kristin) of Oran, Missouri and Corey Ray Hanselman (Taylor) of Chaffee, Missouri; by one sister, Debbie Atchison (Clint) of Jackson, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Bryson Powers, Raylea Hanselman, Hadden Hanselman, Gracelynn Hanselman, and Ripp Hanselman; by one nephew, Ty Atchison (Brittany), one niece, Cassie Newcomb (Ryan); also by great-nephew, Porter Phillips, by two great-nieces, Roanie Phillips and Brendal Newcomb.

Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, June, 19, 2021 from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. with the service at 11:00 A.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with Revs. Gary Brothers and Lee McKinnies officiating.
