Jane Orlene Sater

Jane O. Sater, daughter of the late John P. Sater and Ruby (Goolsby) Sater was born on April 22, 1939 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed her life on Monday, January 1, 2024 at her residence in Chaffee at the age of 84 years.

She was a six year Veteran of the United States Army serving three years of her time at the United States Pentagon. Later, she served in the Naval Reserve for two years, while working for the United States Postal Service which she retired from after 30 years in Denver, Colorado.

Survivors include two brothers, Russell Eugene Sater of Scott City and Harold Richard Sater of Pacific, Missouri; one sister, Evelyn Sater Diebold of Kelso, Missouri; also, by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Russell Sater and James Herbert Sater; also, by two sisters Kathleen McCain and Virginia Blattel.

Committal service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 12:45 pm in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
