Jane Duffell

Adda Lee (Jane) Duffell, Stewart, daughter of the late Loranzy (Ranzy) Finney and Lou Ella Harris Finney was born on April 17, 1925 in Amity, Clark Co, Arkansas and departed her life on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Jackson, Missouri at the age of 96 years.

She was a former employee of Woolworths Department store in St. Louis, Missouri and of the Pentecostal faith. Jane was a member of Daughters of American Revolution, Love to quilt and a avid gardener, and loved to can her vegetables grown in the garden.

Jane was united in marriage to Sidney Duffell on November 15, 1941 in New Madrid, Missouri. Mr. Duffell preceded her in death she later married Mr. Fred Stewart and he also preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Larry (Phyllis) Duffell of Thebes, Illinois; by four daughters, Yvonne Mitchell and the late Micky Carter of Ozark, Missouri; Darlene (John) Kleyer of Athens, Alabama; Diane Duffell of Jackson, Missouri and Genice (Gary) Eck of Bella Vista, Arkansas; by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jesse Finney, Clyde (Bob) Finney, and Author Fay Finney; by three sisters, Allie Jane Burnett, Ola Diggs, and Thelma Heffington.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 9:00 10:00 am at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will then be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:00 am with Rev. Brian Flanigan officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Morley cemetery.
