James Allen Phillips

James Allen Phillips, age 49, of Glenallen, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mr. Phillips was born on July 16, 1971 in Cape Girardeau to James Richard Phillips & the late Carla (Walter) Ray.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his father and step-mother, Rick & Tammy Phillips of Benton, Missouri; three children: LeeAnna Childers, and Cody Phillips both of Marble Hill, Missouri; Madsyn Phillips of Millersville, Missouri; a sister, Kathryn Gramlisch of Ashland, Virginia; a brother Kelly Phillips of Oran; a paternal grandmother Nadine “Grannie” Phillips; a step-father, Benny Ray of Oran, Missouri; a step brother Kenny Ray of Creve Coeur; a step sister Leslie Chapman of Evansville, Indiana.He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother Doris Walter; his mother Carla Ray; & brother Bobby Phillips.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Graveside service will follow at Perkins Cemetery in Perkins, Missouri.
