James Morgan

James Thomas Morgan, 66 of Benton, Missouri died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his home. He was born July 27, 1954 in Quilin, Missouri to Buddy and Ethlene Hunt Morgan. He married Cynthia Leigh Taylor on December 11, 1982. She preceded him in death on July 29, 2020.

He was a truck driver for Genesis Transportation. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army & U.S. Navy.

He is survived a son, Chris (Tasha) Morgan of Benton; step-daughter, Jaime Griffin of Springdale, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chase and Makayla Morgan and Peyton and Taylor Gilliland; two brothers, Robert (Sandy) Greer of Benton and Roger (Nina) Morgan of Pinnicle, North Carolina; a sister, Rita Kidd of Sikeston, Missouri.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harry Claude and Johnny Morgan and a sister, Marie Crowden.

There will be no services.
