James Hale

James Franklin Hale, 59 of Belleville, Illinois formerly of Scott City passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville. He was born February 5, 1961 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Lloyd Lester and Mary Ann Owen Hale. He married Nancy Jo Braun on June 23, 2000.

He worked for Logistics – OHL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a son, James Franklin Hale III of Belleville; two brothers, Larry Hale of Belleville and Guy (Lori) Hale of Scott City; two sisters, Rebecca (Scott) Wright of Gordonville, Missouri and Sharron MacDonald of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tommy and Russell Hale.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am on Saturday, July 11, 2020 until the time of service at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the chapel with Rev. Kevin Ropp officiating.
