Ida Dunger

Ida Marie Dunger, daughter of the late William Henry and Manda Julia (Peetz) Dunger was born May 23, 1927 in Fornfelt, Missouri and departed this life on January 2, 2022 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 94 years.

Ms. Dunger was baptized June 19, 1927 in Illmo, Missouri by Rev. George Hilpert and then was confirmed by Interim Rev. Walter Keisker on June 23, 1940. Ida graduated from Fornfelt Highschool in 1945. She had worked at the Cape Bus Terminal, then was a Teller at the Bank of Illmo/Regions Bank.

She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Drury of Saint Charles, Missouri; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Apart from her parents, she was proceeded in death by one sister: Shirley Schroeder; three brothers: William, Clarence, and Charles Dunger.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 10:00 am on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.

The memorial service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 20, 2023  at the Church with Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating.
