Hugh David Ziegler

Hugh David Ziegler, 76 of Scott City, Missouri died Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born July 27, 1945 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Theodore Charles and Celestia Grace LeDure Ziegler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving companion, Karen Smith of Jackson; two sisters, Darlene Duff of Scott City and Vivian (Pat) Buehrle of Ballwin, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shirley Glastetter and Lavana Faye Jacobs and a infant brother, August Jacob Ziegler. Visitation will be from 9:30 am – 11:00 am on Wednesday at the St. Joseph Church in Scott City. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the church with Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Scott City with full military honors.
