Henry Walter

Henry D. Walter, 88 of Scott City, Missouri died Friday, December 20, 2019 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born August 24, 1931 in Illmo, Missouri to Otto and Anna Sander Walter. He married Rose E. Lindeman on March 28, 1964.

He was a dump truck driver and attended the Assembly of God Church in Scott City. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife Rose of 55 years; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: six brothers, Martin, Otto “Pete”, Orville, Lenos, Alfred and Gene; and four sisters, Marie Roth, Dorothy Hamm, Kathleen Green, and Aletha Varnon.

Visitation will be from 4:00 -8:00 pm on Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday at the chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery with full military honors.
