Glennetta SUE Tyler
Sue Tyler, daughter of the late Orville Burns and Essie Marie Curry Burns was born on September 13, 1939 in Fornfelt, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
Sue was a former secretary for Albrecht Insurance and a librarian for Regional Library in Scott City. She was a member of Cape First Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and a resident of Scott City.
On August 11, 1963 she was united in marriage to Robert Tyler in Scott City. Mr. Tyler survivors of the home in Scott City.
Besides her husband survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Keith Tyler (Teiffney) of Sikeston, Missouri; two sisters, Ann Culbertson of Fruitland, Missouri, and Connie Killian (Arnold) of Scott City; by two granddaughters, Ashlei Conway (Roger)of Marble Hill, Missouri and Amber Tyler of Cape Girardeau.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Pat Hampton.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Assembly of God Church in Scott City with Rev. Gary Brothers, Rev. Blake Tieman, and Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City conducting arrangements.
