Glenn Spikes, son of the late Richard Spikes and Glennell Ezell Spikes was born on January 29, 1953 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida and departed his life on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his residence in Perryville, Missouri at the age of 69 years.

Mr. Spikes was a former employee at the B & M Auto Parts Store in Puxico, attended Stoddard County Cowboy Church, loved bass fishing and tending to his gardens.  He enjoyed watching and feeding the humming birds and spending time with his late wife and family.

On March 10, 1972 he was united in marriage to Gladys Stewart.  Mrs. Spikes preceded him in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Tiffany (Josh) Carr of Puxico and Heather (Scott) Sifford of Puxico; four grandchildren Emily Carr, Asher Carr, Bryce Sifford, and Carlie Sifford all of Puxico; by one brother, Kenn Spikes and significant other Charlotte Slay of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; one nephew, Ryan Spikes and family of Pensacola, Florida.  Later in Glenn’s journey in life he was led to Dawn, who became a loving and caring companion until in final day.

Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Stoddard County Cowboy Church in Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Ray Placher officiating.  Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting in arrangements.
