Glenn Melton Harris

Glenn Melton Harris, 82, of Oran passed away Wednesday December 4, 2019 at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau. He was born September 23, 1937 at Oran, the son of John Melton and Helen Catherine Wright Harris.

Glen was a truck driver for Valley Steel and he later worked for the Scott County Highway Department. He was a member of Oran Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son Jason Harris of Oran and a daughter Melissa (Darrick) Bruce of Scott City, two grandchildren Kalyn and Keegan Bruce of Scott City. He was preceded in death by a brother Wesley Dean Harris.

There will be no services.
