Georgia Hicks

Georgia Hicks, daughter of the Ernest Sloniker and Mildred Bellinger Sloniker was born on July 6, 1938 in Waterman, Illinois and departed this life on December 3, 2019 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 81 years.

Mrs. Hicks was a loving mother, of the Methodist faith, and a resident of Benton, Missouri.

On January 2, 1970 she was untied in marriage to Theodore Edgar Hicks in Missouri. Mr. Hicks preceded her in death on June 13, 2005.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Bryant and Trisha McDonough both of Benton; two sons Danny Hicks and Larry Hicks both of Bell City; one brother, Pastor Bob Sloniker of Wichita, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Terry Hicks, one daughter, Wanda Carey; one brother, Ernest Sloniker; four sisters, Clara Inman, Anna Wilkins, Retha Scott, and Betty Pickens; by one grandson Dylan Hicks; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Hensley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12:00 until 2:00 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran. Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Bob Sloniker officiating. Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
