Georgia Dannenmueller

Georgia Marie Duncan Dannenmueller, 86 of New Hamburg, Missouri died Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born January 2, 1933 in New Hamburg to Joseph and Mamie Scherer Dirnberger. She married Roscoe Matthew Duncan on August 16, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1986. She later married Cornelius Dannenmueller on July 25, 1992 and he also preceded her in death on December 1, 2001.

She was the owner/operator of the Chaffee and Scott City Bakery. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Scott City; Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W in Morley and Kelso Senior Citizens. She was a former member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church & Ladies Sodality.

Her passions were dancing, Bingo and playing cards.

She is survived by three sons, Rick (Bonnie) Duncan of Chaffee, Missouri, Ernie (Mary) Duncan of Cape Girardeau, and Jimmy (Marilyn) Duncan of New Hamburg; a daughter, Diane (Randy Hahs) Duncan of Cape Girardeau; Eleven grandchildren, Cara (Andy) Exler, Jamie (Travis) Green, Rusty Duncan, Lance ( Maria) Duncan, Tara (Mike) McClard, Trever ( Steffie) Duncan, Jordan (Britney) Duncan, Garrett (fiancé Brandi Crain) Duncan, Adam (Catherine) Duncan, Alex (Casey) Duncan and Dustin ( Justin Scheper) Duncan; twelve great grandchildren, Mason, Brandin, Tyler, Michaela, Bridget, Caleb, Mikey, Gunner, Aksel, Abel, Alexandria and Jase.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 pm.

Funeral mass will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at the church with Rev. Bala Swami Govindu as Celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in New Hamburg.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Lawrence Parish School of Religion, St. Joseph Catholic School or St. Ambrose Catholic School.
