George Walter Holland

George Holland, son of the late George and Vivian (Boshell) Holland was born on October 5, 1954 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed his life on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the age of 69 years. He was a former machinist for Southeast Missouri Machine Shop in Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Veteran of the United States Army, and a resident of Delta, Missouri. On August 30, 1982 he was united in marriage to Jamie Marie Daniels in Odessa, Texas. She survives of the home in Delta. Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Jon (Amanda) Holland of Kansas City, Missouri; three daughters, Tyane Holland of Benton, Illinois, Angela (Chris) Wright of Kelso, Missouri, and Jessica (Josh) Friedmeyer of Festus, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Rhilynn, Conner, Malcolm, Brooklyn, Gabriel, Justin, Sabrina, Logan, Christopher, and Seven; also, by one great-grandchild, Miles; three brothers, Thomas (Debra) Holland of Sikeston, Missouri; Charles (Monica) Holland of Oran, Missouri; Daniel (Leigh) Holland of Vanduser, Missouri; a sister, Cynthia (Raymond) Brown of Morley, Missouri Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 11:00 until 1:00 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at 2:00 P.M. with Roger Sievert officiating at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors.
