George Depriest

George Leroy DePriest, son of the late Lester and Betty (Holley) DePriest was born April 4, 1948 in Charleston, Missouri and departed his life on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his residence in Sedgewickville, Missouri, at the age of 75 years.

On November 19, 1966 he married Marilyn Nall. She survives.

Apart from his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Susan (Jamie) Sanders of Benton, Missouri; four brothers: Steven H. (Dawn) DePriest of Gordonville, Missouri, David DePriest of Farmington, Missouri, Mark DePriest of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Timothy DePriest of Cartersville, Illinois; one sister: Cynthia (Joe) Hoffmeister of Jackson, Missouri; one granddaughter: Allison (Joshua) McAtee; and two great-grandchildren: Owen and Jordan McKinney.

Apart from his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Steve DePriest; and one grandson: Seth Martin.

The family would to extend an special thanks to Crown Hospice of Cape Girardeau
