Gean Knotts

Gean Knotts, daughter of the late Albert Abraham and Emma Statler Abraham was born on February 28, 1927 in Hornersville, Missouri and departed her life on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Chaffee Nursing Center at the age of 95.

She was a homemaker, baptized in 1976 at the Church of God and joined the church on January 5, 1986.

On August 22, 1945 she was united in marriage to Ervin Knotts in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  Mr. Knotts preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Rick (Dava) Knotts of Marble Hill; by one daughter, Bonnie (Larry) Shelton of Chaffee; three sisters, Wanda Healy, Mary Sue Brooks, and Gretchen Wise, all of Coloma, Michigan; nineteen grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Gary Knotts, Ronald Knotts, and Roger Knotts; by one daughter, Carolyn Stidham Knotts

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.  Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Rick Knotts officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery.
