Frances Ann Dirnberger
Frances Ann Dirnberger, daughter of the late Benjamin Scheffer and MaryAnn Scherer Scheffer was born on December 7, 1942 in Charleston, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at her residence in New Hamburg, Missouri at the age of 78 years.
Mrs. Dirnberger was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Women’s Auxiliary Knights of Columbus. She was a housewife (child coraller) and a resident of Oran.
On July 14, 1962 she was united in marriage to Paul M. Dirnberger, Sr. Mr. Dirnberger preceded her in death on December 10, 2016.
Survivors include four sons, Paul (Tammy) Dirnberger, Jr. of Jackson; John (Susan) Dirnberger of Oran; Raymond Dirnberger of Cape Girardeau; Phillip (Denise) Dirnberger of Oran; four daughters, Alice (Roger) Berkbuegler of Biehle, Missouri; Sandra (Steve) Moore of St. Mary, Missouri; Trina (Randy) Tankersley of Perkins, Missouri; Gail (Adam) DuBois of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Ben Scheffer of Festus, Missouri; Richard Scheffer of Gordonville, Missouri; Charles Scheffer of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Marilyn Landewee of Jackson; Mary Cotner of Cape Girardeau; Clara Urhahn of Oran; Teresa Welter of Jackson; a brother-in-law, Bernard Dirnberger and sister-in-law, Helen Holmes; fifteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Family Only on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral Mass will be Family Only at 10:00 am on Monday, February 22, 2021 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg with Father Tom Keifer and Rev. Bala Swamy Govindu. Burial will follow at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in New Hamburg.
