Evelyn Corinne Jones

Evelyn Corinne Jones, daughter of the late George Tellus and Laura Euala (Morgan) Miller was born September 25, 1931, in Dardanelle, Arkansas and departed this life on Saturday June 19, 2021 at the Bloomfield Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 89 years.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Hooe Baptist Church in Oran, Missouri, and she was involved in the Operation Shoebox Christmas Child.

On December 28, 1953 she was united in marriage to Harlie “Frank” Jones in Maryland. Mr. Jones preceded her in death on November 6, 2007.

She is survived by two daughters: Donna Jones of Morley, Missouri, Pam Simmers of Newport, Arkansas; one sister: Alma McMullin of Benton, Missouri; four grandchildren: Heath (Lexi) Watkins, Kelan (Victoria) Watkins, Jordan Mansell, Owen Watkins; seven great-grandchildren: Lillie Watkins, Ryot Mansell, Ruger Mansell, Rory Watkins, Killian Watkins, Piper Watkins, Lucas Cantrell, and to be baby boy Watkins; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 22, 2021at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri. Funeral will be on Wednesday June, 23, 2021 at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
