Ethel Jane Joy

Ethel Jane Joy, daughter to Jack and Anna Tholson Garr was born on June 17, 1930 in Rapid City, South Dakota and departed this life on December 7, 2020 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 90 years.

Ethel was a loving mother, homemaker and farmer. She was a member of Fountain of Life Tabernacle in Jackson, Missouri.

She is survived by three sons, John (Angie) Guerrero of Jackson; James (Sandy) Guerrero of Bay City, Texas; Billy Joy of Eldridge, Missouri; a daughter, Linda Thaggard of Santa Maria, California; two brothers; Gene (Carol) Garr of Rapid City, South Dakota; Oscar (Maxine) Garr of Richland, Washington; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Billy Joy

Visitation will be at 10:00 am until time of service on Thursday, December 10 ^th , at Fountain of life Tabernacle, 2484 Old Toll Rd, Jackson, Missouri. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am at Fountain of life Tabernacle with Rev. Ron Marler officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
