Esther Marie Roberts

Esther Marie Roberts, daughter of the late Napoleon Dallas Cook and Martha Ann (McIntyre) Cook was born on January 4, 1923 in Whitewater, Missouri and departed her life on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Monroe Manor Residential Care in Paris, Missouri at the age of 100.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrison, Arkansas for several years and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

On March 15, 1942 she was united in marriage to Charles Jefferson Roberts.  Mr. Roberts preceded her in death.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen Roberts, Christopher James Roberts, Sandra Faye Dickey, and Nathan Paul Smith; twelve great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Carl Roberts; by one daughter, Paula Kaye Smith; eight brothers, five sisters, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from noon until 1:30 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.  Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday at 1:30 PM in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Forrest Hills Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
