Emery "Butch" Dodson

Emery Allen “Butch” Dodson, 71 of Scott City died Friday, February 12, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He was born on March 22, 1949 in Fornfelt, Missouri to George Nathan and Stella Mae Holder Dodson.

He worked at Wal-Mart.  He was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by two daughters, Mackenzie (Brandon) Parker of Crump, Missouri and Brenda Lee Crader of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Alice Moore of Cape Girardeau and Margie (Robert) Keller of Scott City and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother,
Glenn Dodson and three sisters, Patty Dodson, Catherine Thomson and Mary Pulliam.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City with Rev. Jack Owens officiating and full military honors.
