Elmer Peetz

Elmer Dean Peetz, 81 of Cape Girardeau, MO died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at his home.  He was born June 28, 1940 to Ferdinand and Andora Keller Peetz.  He married June Smith on November 7, 1964.

He was a farmer and served with the National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, June; his children, Dana (Tim) Cook of Jackson, Dustin (Haley) Peetz of St. Louis, Missouri, Dylan Peetz of Cape Girardeau and Dawn (Jeff) Baker of Sullivan, Missouri; a sister, Barbara (Kenneth) Sample of Cape Girardeau and four grandchildren, Mallory Cook and Devan, Dalton and Samantha Baker.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday at the chapel with Rev. Michael Woods officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.

Masks are required for visitation and service.

In lieu of flowers the memorials can be made to the Broadway Methodist Church.
