Rev. Ellston Chapman

Rev. Ellston Elmer Chapman, 77 of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his home.  He was born January 26, 1945 in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania.  He married Paula Marie Moore on July 5, 1968 in Anoka, Minnesota.  She preceded him in death on June 26, 2022.

He was the minister at Mid America Teen Challenge for 45 years.

He is survived by two sons, Stewart (Clarissa) Chapman of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Nathan (Jamie) Chapman of Marthasville, Missouri; a daughter, Jana (Roger) Ray of El Centro, California; a brother, Laurice Chapman of Lake Ariel and a sister, Elaine Stevens of Lake Ariel.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday at the Teen Challenge Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
