Edna Ramsey

Edna Mae Ramsey, 88 of Scott City died Monday, December 5, 2022 at her home.  She was born March 25, 1934 in Grove Center, Kentucky to William Marion and Mary Eva Isabelle Brock Biggs.  She married James Walter “Num” Ramsey on May 24, 1952.  He preceded her in death on March 29, 1997.

She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

She is survived by a son, James Eddie (Verna) Ramsey of Jefferson City, Missouri; three daughters, Betty (Dennis) Henson of Whitewater, Donna Holshouser and Margie Fowler of Scott City; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jack and Jerry “Moe” Ramsey; her parents; eight brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be a 1:00 pm on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
