Ecel Mae Ragsdale Keller, 88, of Scott City, passed away at her home on February 4, 2020. She was borne August 29, 1931 at Essex, Missouri the daughter of Charles “Roscoe” and Lily Mae Richardson Jones. She married James Edward Ragsdale on September 18, 1949 in St. Louis and he preceded her in death on August 24, 1983. She then married Darl Keller on March 20, 1994 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1994.
Ecel was a long time Sunday school teacher and last taught Sunday school at The 1st Assembly of God Church in Scott City. She worked numerous jobs during her life.
She is survived by a son, James E. Ragsdale, Jr. of Evanston, Wyoming, Three daughters, Agnes Ragsdale and Margaret Ebey, both of Scott City and Eleanor Jinkerson of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is survived by a sister, Pauline Goodale of Scott City, 3 grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren
She was preceded by a daughter Alice Ragsdale, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8:00 p.m. At Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral service will be Saturday at the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri
