Earl Eugene Chasteen, son of the late Edward Franklin and Pauline (Priest) Chasteen was born June 1, 1933 in Rector Arkansas and departed this life on May 4, 2020.
Mr. Chasteen was a TV Repair man, a pilot, he enjoyed talking to people across the world on his HAM Radio using the call sign: K0VKE, he was in the CB Club under the call signs of Mad Russian and TV Man, he was a storm chaser, and also was a musician that could play many instruments.
On November 3, 1956 he married Katie McCarty in Chaffee, MO, she survives.
He was preceded in death by father, Edward F. Chasteen; mother, Mildred Pauline Priest (Chasteen); brother, Eldon Lloyd Chasteen; sister: Joyce Chasteen; and grandchild: Brittnay Lynn Kennedy.
Also surviving are two sons: Roy Chasteen of Farmington, Terry Chasteen of Kailua Kona, HI; two daughters: Shari Felter of Benton, Patricia Kennedy of Advance; two sisters: Mildred Chapman of Chaffee,, Joy Kinder of Allenville; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 1:30pm on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Freeland officiating. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee
