Doyle Wayne Canady, son of Pauline Semancik of Delta, Missouri and the late Velmer “RED” Canady was born on June 7, 1957 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 62 years.
Mr. Canady was a former Boiler Maker for Local Union 27 in St. Louis, Missouri, member of the Morley Baptist Church, and a resident of Morley, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Cindy Lyn Dunker on October 1, 1977 in Rockview, Missouri. Mrs. Canady survives of the home in Morley.
Besides his wife, Cindy and mother, Pauline Semancik, other survivors include two sons, Anthony Travis of Saint Marys, Georgia and Eric Canady (Chasity) of Morley; one daughter, Amy Brzycki (Bryan) of St. Louis, Missouri; three brothers, David Canady of Cherokee Ridge, Arkansas, Tommy Canady and Jerry Canady both of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Mary Jo Summers of Scott City, Missouri and Diane Amelunke of Delta; also six grandchildren, Mallory, Hailey, Madeline, Lydia, Katelyn, and Tyler.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 2:00 on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran. Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at the New Morley Cemetery.
