Dorothy Helen Watson, 96, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Lutheran Home Providence Place in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born February 17, 1923 in Hickman, Kentucky to Frank and Zula Cook Gordon.

Dorothy graduated from Hickman High School and attended Murray State University. She made many dear friends while working at the Flaming Pit and also set appointments for Dale Davault Insurance Agency.  Dorothy danced her way through life! She shared her faith with everyone and loved life.

She is survived by two daughters, Debby (Jerry) Friese of Scott City and Tammy (Eddie) Clardy of Jackson, Missouri; three grandchildren, Bryan (Misty) Friese and Dr. Keisha (Nick) Panagos of Scott City and Deidre (Gary) Kluesner of New Hamburg, Missouri; eight great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister and a grandson.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of service on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Father’s Arms Fellowship in Scott City.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the church with Rev. Kenny Strong officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Father’s Arms Fellowship.
