Dorothy Thompson

Dorothy Jean Thompson, 72 of Oran, Missouri died Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the home of her son.  She was born July 2, 1949 in Charleston, Missouri to Alfred and Virginia Brewer McCutchen.  She married Wendall Mason “Bill” Thompson, Jr. on August 4, 1973.

She is a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; two sons, Christopher
(Jeannette) Florek and Joseph Florek of Benton, Missouri; a daughter, Jennifer (Steven) Holmes of Perryville, Missouri; a brother, Clyde McCutchen of Monon, Indiana and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Visitation will be from 5:00- 8:00 pm on Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton and from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston.

Funeral service will be at Noon on Friday at the church with Rev. Matthew Berry officiating.

Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
