Doris Ann Tucker

Doris Tucker, daughter of the late Eugene “Bud” Dumey and the late Cora (Schaefer) Dumey was born on January 8, 1928 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed her life on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Sherbrooke Village in South County, Missouri at the age of 97 years.

Ms. Tucker worked in the garment industry for several years in the St. Louis area and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Kay Moriarty of St. Louis and Barbara Veda of Park Hall, Maryland; two sisters, Helen Hopkins of Jackson and Annie Crain of Rolla; two grandchildren Phillip Pendino and Patricia Hensler; eight great-grandchildren; also, by other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Tucker; a grandson Richie Quinton and one brother, Charles Dumey.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
