Donna Hodges

Donna Sue Hodges, 80 of Scott City died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.  She was born September 16, 1940 in Sikeston, Missouri to Bob and Stella Ruth Strain Dickerson.

She worked at the First National Bank of Sikeston, Bank of Illmo, Joel Montgomery Investment and retired from the Community Counseling Center.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City and she was the first ever Lady Elk in Sikeston.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Clayton) Palisch of Scott City; three grandchildren, Rachel (Josh) Penfield of Jackson, Andy (Jodi) Palisch,  Alex (Ang) Palisch of Scott City and four great grandchildren, Ava Penfield and Dru, Russ and Easton Palisch.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Larry Dickerson.

Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 am on Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at the chapel.

Memorials can be made to American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
