Donald Mier, son of Stephen Mier of Jackson, Missouri and Patricia Barberis of Chaffee, Missouri was born on April 20, 1972 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on April 24, 2020 in Benton, Missouri at the age of 48 years.

Mr. Mier previously owned and operated Busy Bee Construction and Roofing. Donald had also worked as a Manager for Dana Corporation in Cape Girardeau before it closed. He also had two inventions and was granted two major patents by the United States Government with one in production before he became ill. Mr. Mier was a resident of Chaffee, Missouri.

Besides his parents, survivors include one daughter, Loren McCurley of Tennessee; one sister, Stephanie Simpson of Chaffee also by other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held at a later date conducted by the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Chaffee.
