Donald Dean Hester Donald Dean Hester, son to the late John and Eula Schearf Hester was born on February 5, 1946 in Delta, Missouri and departed his life on February 7, 2023 at his home in Delta at the age of 77 years. He married Janet Waddle on September 21, 1968 and she survives of the home. Donald served on the Delta School Board for 27 years. He was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church in Advance: where he was a Sunday School Teacher. He was the Owner/Operator of Just Plain Fun, LLC in Chaffee. He was an Elvis Impersonator for 25 years; where he entertained at various nursing homes. Donald was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam era. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Paul Hester of Delta; Neil (Shelah) Hester of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Sarah (Fiancé James Mensing) Hester of Carlyle, IL; a brother, John (Dolores) Hester of Highland, IL; five grandchildren, Kimberlie (Dustin) Nothdurft; Daniel, Stephen, Cameron and Riley Hester; a much beloved great-grandson, Kole Nothdurft; special friend & neighbor, Joe Burger and daughter Alison Kelley; also surviving many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Donald Lee Hester; teenage sister, Pauline Argulee Hester; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Eugene and Patricia Ann Hester. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral Service will then be conducted on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Earl Elfrink and Rev. Ronnie McAtee as officiants. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery near Delta, Missouri with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial to Delta Public Schools
