Dana Mccourt

Dana D. McCourt, 85 of Benton, Missouri died Friday, July 02, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center.  He was born September 8, 1935 to Ophie and Sara (Cougar) McCourt.  He married Deloma “Jean” Jones on May 16,1964.  She preceded him in death on March 5, 2015.

He owned and operated the D & D Upholstery for 50 years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, he loved the word of God, singing and playing the bass guitar.

He is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Scott Griffith) Mitchem of Jonesboro
Illinois, Crystal (Todd) Gosche of Commerce and Kathie (Rob) Vian; one brother, Delmas McCourt of Vero Beach, Florida; a sister, Carolyn Johns of Vero Beach, Fl; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-grandson on the way.

He was also preceded in death by a son: Dana Dempsey McCourt, Jr.; two daughters: Karen Skaggs and Pamela Marcolini and two brothers: Bill and Paul McCourt and one grandson.

Visitation will be from    10:00am on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

Until the time of the Funeral Service that will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating.

Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton.
