Dale L Hampton passed away on May 31,2024 at the age of 69. He was born on August
22,1954 in Flint Michigan, and most recently resided in Qulin, MO. Dale was a true lover of life,
finding joy in various hobbies such as building and racing cars, fishing, hunting, camping, four
wheeler riding, or hanging with friends around a bonfire somewhere.
Dale's greatest happiness came from being surrounded by his immediate family, and many of
his friends. He treasured his roles as a father, a grandpa, and a great grandpa. He was married
to Debra Howdyshell. Together they created a loving and supportive home to their three
children, Michael, Melissa, and Marissa.
Professionally, Dale devoted his time to farming, and his hard work and dedication were evident
in achievements. Dale was known for his fierce loyalty to those that he cared deeply for, a very
stubborn nature to prove he knew his knowledge whether he was right or wrong, his goofiness
to help spread joy to others, and a exceptional sympathetic friend to lend a hand, a ear, or a hug
for those in need. Dale impacted the lives of others through his willingness to always lend a
helping hand.
Outside of his personal pursuits, Dale was a member of the Freedom of The Road Riders,
showcasing his passion for motorcycle riding and a sense of community it fostered. He lived his
life by the motto, "If they are talking about me, they are leaving someone else alone."
Dale will be dearly missed by his surviving loved ones, including his brothers, Robert "Bob"
Hampton, Gene Hampton, Wayne Gozie, and Johnny Winchester. Dale is leaving behind a
legacy of 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by everyone
who he loved. He leaves behind a lasting legacy as a devoted family man, a hardworking
farmer, and a friend whose impact will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing
him.
In accordance with Dale's wishes, there will be no specific religious or spiritual service. His
