Daisy Williams

Daisy Williams, daughter of the late Andrew and Lenora (St. Cin) Warner was born March 28, 1924 in Perkins, Missouri and departed her life on Wednesday August 17,2022 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 98.

On November 11, 1940 she married James Adriel Williams. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2001.

She is survived by two daughters: Bethel Lindy of Oran, Missouri; Yvonne Lucille Mezo of Marion, Illinois, one son-in-law: Donald Mezo of Marion, Illinois; one sister-in-law: Peggy Clark; one grandson: Thomas Petitt III; one great-granddaughter: Taylor Marie Petitt.

Apart from her Parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: one granddaughter: Dana Yvonne Lindy; and four brothers and two sisters, and one nephew: James “Jimmy” Williams.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 20022 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Oran First Baptist Church in Oran, Missouri Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Interment will follow at the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Missouri.
