Christy Sue Whorton

Christy Sue Whorton, daughter to the late Leeroy Winfer and Betty Ruth (Oliver) Abernathy was born on January 7, 1957 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on February 5, 2021 in Morley, Missouri at the age of 64 years.

She worked as a CNA for Missouri Veterans Home for 17 years until her retirement January 31, 2021.

She is survived by her son, Jamie (Heather) Abernathy of Morley, Missouri; two brothers, Winfer Ray (Margaret) Abernathy of Junction City, Kansas and Billy L. Abernathy of Morley; Wanda L (Jim) Lovel of Morley; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
