Christopher "Chris" Charles Mccann

Christopher “Chris” Charles McCann, son of Charles and Annette (Childers) McCann was born July 27, 1984 in Charleston, Missouri and departed his life on February 24, 2023 at the St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 38 years.

Mr. McCann was of Catholic faith and was baptized at the St. Dennis Catholic Church in Benton, Missouri. He was a truckdriver for McDonald Concrete Company.

On September 27, 2014 he married Julie Eftink at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Missouri. She Survives.

Apart from his wife, he is survived by his mother: Annette McCann of Morley, Missouri; three sisters: Angela (Matt) Schabbing of Shawneetown, Missouri, Trecia Taylor of Sikeston, Missouri, Laurel (Larry) Mooneyhan of Spring Hills, Florida; one uncle: Narvel (Rhonda) Childers of Morley, Missouri; three nephews: Hunter McCann, Logan McCann, Adam (Jenny) Taylor; one niece: Kayci (Justin) Kinsey; one mother-in-law: Janet Eftink of Oran, Missouri.

Apart from his father, he was preceded in death by his material and paternal grandparents. two nieces, one brother-in-law, one father-in-law: Larry Eftink.

There will be a Memorial Visitation held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at a later date.
