Charles Markland

Charles Edward Markland, Jr, 62 of Scott City, Missouri died Sunday, July 3, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He was born May 21, 1960 in Centerville, Illinois to Charles Edward and Charlene Moore Markland, Sr.  He married Rebecca Caldwell on May 26, 1979.

He was owner/operator of Bit-Mat Products in South Bend, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca of Scott City; three daughters, Candace (Nick) Kreighbaum of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Jessica Jones of Scott City and Casey (Mitch) Cambrin of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a brother, Chris (Kim) Markland of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Cheryl (Mike) Cutright of Scott City; eight grandchildren, Taylor (Jack) Allen, Ryley & Nicholas Kreighbaum, Alexander & Cheyenne Jones, Haleigh, Makenzie & Wyatt Cambrin and a great grandson, Oakley John Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Curtis Markland.
