Amick – Burnett Funeral Chapel Chaffee, Missouri 63740 Oran, Missouri 63771 Phone: 573-887-3521 Fax: 573-887-3035 Charles “Bill” King Bill King, son of the late Charles Jessie King and Anna Frances Davis was born on September 15, 1940 in Noblesville, Indiana and departed his life on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at his residence in Morley, Missouri at the age of 82 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, former maintenance supervisor for Firestone in Noblesville, Indian, and retired from Tyson Food Inc. in Dexter, Missouri as maintenance supervisor. On July 4, 1971 he was united in marriage to Marilynn Faye Spencer in Noblesville, Indiana. Mrs. King preceded him in death. Survivors include one daughter, Tina (Allen) Graviett of Oran; by one son, David King of Indiana; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert Bentley and Willard Bentley, also by two sisters, Barbara Keel and Connie Standiger. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Interment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
