Charles James, Jr.

Charles C. (Chuck) James Jr. of Chaffee, Mo departed his life on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at St. Francis hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo at the age of 70.

Charles was born in Kankakee, Illinois on Sept. 14, 1951, to Charles James Sr. and Dorothy Bonds James.  Mr. James was a former employee of Rubbermaid Corp. and retired in 2005.

He is survived by his wife Sally, whom he married on July 1 ^st , 1972, in Kankakee, Illinois.  Charles was the proud father of 3 children, Kimberly Avalos of Jackson, Mo., Mandy James of Chaffee and Bradley James of Jackson, Mo.

Other survivors include his brother, Donald James of Pocahontas, Mo, and his sister Nancy James Lambert of Jackson, Mo., as well as 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry James of South Carolina.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 19 ^th form 2 - 4 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel. Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 PM at the chapel with Rev. Cletus Glueck officiating.
