Charles  “Bob” Hinkle

Charles Hinkle, son of the late Elmer Hinkle and Etta Miinch Hinkle was born on March 15, 1937 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed his life on Monday, June 13, 2022 at his residence in Rockview, Missouri at the age of 85 years.

Mr. Hinkle was a 1955 graduate of Chaffee High School, former Union Pipe Fitter for many years, and a member of the Saint Ambrose Catholic Church.

On September 5, 2004 he was united in marriage to Carolyn McMullin in Chaffee, Missouri.  Mrs. Hinkle preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Robert Hinkle Jr. of Jackson and Douglas Hinkle (Janie) of Chaffee; one daughter, Lisa (Brian) Burger of Jackson; one step-son, Dennis (Sandi) Mills of Scott City; ten grandchildren, Ashley Diebold, Derek Miller, Jordan Anderson, Andrew Hinkle, Garrett Mills, Maranda Mills, Douglas Hinkle Jr., Valerie Hinkle, Laura Nash, and Steven Menz; also, by nine great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Cletus Hinkle and John Hinkle; by one sister, Zora Marie Rothermich.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
