Carol Jean Dirnberger

Carol Jean Dirnberger, daughter of the late Alphonse Stoverink and Irene Thiele Stoverink was born on January 9, 1945 and departed her life on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 77 years.

She was a former Bookkeeper and Co-owner of Dirnberger Feed Store in Oran and Post Office Clerk in Cape Girardeau.  Ms. Dirnberger was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Saint Ann Sodality, and resident of Oran, Missouri.

On September 10, 1966 she was united in marriage to Jerry Dirnberger in Jackson, Missouri.  Mr. Dirnberger preceded her in death on February 10, 2010.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Mark) Beger of Fenton, Missouri and Janis (P.J.) Lacy of Oran, Missouri; one granddaughter, Amanda Gosche of Oran; six brothers, Jim Stoverink, Jerry Stoverink, Dan Stoverink, David Stoverink, Mike Stoverink, and Alvin Stoverink; four sisters, Mary Helen Seiler, Theresa Kern, Rita Koeppel, and Linda Essner.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.  Funeral Mass will then be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the Guardian Angel Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kelly officiating.  Interment will follow on the hill in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.
