Byron Lee Howard

Byron Lee Howard, son of the late Kloyce Carl Howard and Marie Cheskev Johnson was born on September 28, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the age of 62 years.

He was a self-employed appliance repair man and a resident of Bernie, Missouri.

Byron was united in marriage to Rhonda Howard.  Mrs. Howard preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son, Zach Howard of Bernie, Missouri; by step-daughter, Chasity Veliz; three brothers, Ronald Howard, Kent Howard, and Kirk Howard; three sisters, Diane Dixon, Joy Kitchell, and Ann Roberson; by one half-sister, Leslie Johnson; by six grandchildren, Lucious Marshall, Aiden Howard, Kai Howard, Dekklan Howard, Hailey Howard, and Abbiegail Howard; also by two step-granddaughters, Selena and Malayna.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Brandy Marshall and by one sister, Karen Tolbert.

Interment will take place at a later date in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.  Amick-Burnett Funeral Home of Scott City assisting with arrangements.
